Course Description:

Prepare yourself for employment in sales, customer service, advertising, promotion, and first-line supervisory positions in wholesale, retail and service establishments. In Marketing/E-Commerce, you will explore, understand and apply marketing, management, and entrepreneurial principles. Learn the technical skills you'll need for entry level Marketing/E-Commerce occupations; develop life management, business, and leadership skills; and get solid job experiences and supervised occupational service through Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA), the career and technical student organization.

Prepare yourself for employment in sales, customer service, advertising, promotion, and supervisory positions! Gain hands on experience running, Essentials, our own store located in the Career Tech Center.

As a Marketing / E-Commerce student you will compete in regional and even national competitions with DECA the career and technical student organization.

Learn the technical skills necessary for entry-level Marketing / E-Commerce occupations, and develop life management, business, and leadership skills all in one class!

Articulated college credit available to qualified students through Baker College, Ferris State University, and Muskegon Community College.
