Home-Visits

Classroom staff and family advocates will make arrangements to visit the child's home, or select a mutual location to meet. The purpose of the visits is to discuss with the parent/guardian the child's growth and development and to provide the parent/guardian with developmentally appropriate activities they can do with their child. A minimum of four home-visits will be conducted a year for each family.

The classroom staff and family advocate will also assist with the transition from Head Start to Kindergarten or the appropriate next level of learning for the child.
