Student Programs Shape Successful Futures

A successful future is shaped, in part, by the ability to apply classroom knowledge to a real world situation. By marshalling community resources, the MRMSC is able to offer students a unique opportunity to demonstrate their competence in mathematics, science and technology in a real-world setting. They also gain important skills that every employer values, such as teamwork, communications, problem solving, decision-making and planning.

Current MRMSC Student Programs

The Michigan Aerospace Challenge program offers upper elementary, middle and high school students an exciting way to engage in hands-on, real world, science, math and technology using model rocketry.

West Michigan Science Challenge is an opportunity for students and student teams to become involved in creative problem solving in the areas of mathematics, science and engineering.

Amusement Park Physics provides an opportunity for middle school students to apply their math skills and knowledge of physics principles to the real world setting of an amusement park.
