I’m Danielle Benson-Fennell. I previously taught Film Photography at WINGS. I am an art educator with Mona Shores High School of 23 years. My favorite media to create with are metals and painting.
Jenn Fairweather has taught at Oakridge Schools for 21 years and WINGS programs for 3 years. 4th grade is her favorite grade to teach! She loves to read, study history, cook, and tell ghost stories.
I’m Mary Godfrey. I have taught for three years at WINGS, encouraging better nutrition for kids. We have activities such as: vegetable and fruit designs, fun interactive exercises: spitting the watermelon seeds, rolling the watermelon down the hill. Nutrition Worksheets and a Nutrition book they create in our week, the kids will bring home and read and share with the family. Physical games (duck duck goose) and exercise along with good eating habits to promote good brain foods for healthy bodies.
I’m Terrie Hampel. I have 40+ years of experience teaching in public and private school settings, preschool through young adults. Topics of most interest to me have been health, music, art, and outdoor activities like gardening, reading, and writing. I have worked with the WINGS program since 2013 in a variety of settings, including Vegetable Art, Human Anatomy, and the last two years in Cursive Writing, 1st through 7th grades.
