Apple recipe tasting session

Hospitality students share the “fruits” of their labor at Montague and Whitehall schools

This fall, Hospitality & Food Management (HFM) students have been working hard to refine their apple recipes and narrow the field of over 25 down to just two. The final two selections, Elizabeth's Apple Pie Breakfast Rounds and Katie's Warm Cinnamon Apples, will be featured for tastings in the CTC’s Harvey Street Bistro as well as during all lunch periods at Montague and Whitehall schools on November 20 and 21.

This partnership with Montague and Whitehall Food Services strives to encourage youth to try new foods and to recognize foods grown here in Michigan. It also supports Cultivate Michigan, a campaign to increase Farm to Institution programs.
