Community Health Worker

Course Overview

Community Health Worker is a hands-on program for students who want to help people and make a real impact in their community. You’ll learn how to talk with individuals and families, understand their needs, and connect them to resources like healthcare, food access, housing, and mental health support. This class builds real-world skills in communication, advocacy, and problem-solving while giving students a behind-the-scenes look at how healthcare and social services work together. This program prepares students for careers in healthcare, social services, or public-facing professions.
