Course Overview

The HVAC-R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) program prepares students for high-demand, well-paid skilled trades careers through structured, hands-on technical training. Students work with commercial heating and cooling systems while learning industry safety practices, troubleshooting, wiring, schematics, brazing, soldering, and system installation. The program emphasizes real-world problem solving and job-ready skills. Students may also earn EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification, giving them a valuable industry credential and a strong advantage when pursuing entry-level HVAC careers after graduation.
