Early Childhood Resources

ABC's of Music is a weekly, early literacy program designed for 3-5 year olds and their caregivers provided by Read Muskegon.  Children will enjoy singing, dancing, reading, exploring the ABC's, and doing a crafts.  Every week children will receive a free book, work on literacy comprehension and create their very own instrument.  Registration is required to attend all programs offered by Read Muskegon. Please join us for an interactive, fun morning with your child, ages birth to 5 years old.
Playgroup will be held from 10:30 - 12:00 on the dates listed below. A FREE lunch will be
provided for the entire family while we learn, grow and play together, engaging in
developmentally appropriate activities.

June 24th July 22th August 12th
All events are held at the Orchard View Community Education building on the Early Head Start
playground pictured above. In the case of rain, playgroup will be held in the gym. Please park
on the west side of the building in the parking lot near the playground.

If you've ever wanted to look inside a laptop or a CD players, here's your chance! We will provide old tech and the tools you need to crack them open and take a look inside. Registration Required.
